Future of the news paper

I think things will change for the average newspaper in the next 5 to 10 years. Everything will soon be digital. The upcoming generations will have been raised in a computer world, where every piece of information will be at their fingertips. Every thing will be completely updatable and current to the second. That will prep them for things that we cant imagine for how we see the news.

Today there are still a lot of uncertainty towards the technical world so until things change and new concepts are accepted can the news be viewed in a new way. With the hand held phones able to access the internet just as easily as a laptop, and see the current news its only a matter of time before the old news paper goes away. I personally get all of my news electronically through yahoo and the Q13’s web site. I like to be fairly current on the news.

As I've stated in my own blog, I can't see newspapers disappearing forever. Even with the Internet allowing more accessibility for News companies, I think it would be difficult to have newspapers become obsolete
